Missing my love on our 30th Wedding Anniversary~

You picked me up for our first date in October 1975. It was a blind date. I was 17 and a senior in high school, and you were 20 and a sophmore in college. From that evening on we were joined at the hip and rarely separated.

Our wedding was beautiful that Saturday, August 16, 1980.

Thank you for giving me such a wonderful life filled with your unconditional love and support. We have two wonderful sons...they absolutely adored you! You were always such a great role model to them. They miss you.

Life can be unfair. Over 12 years ago God had a different plan for you as you were taken away from me. It's still difficult for me not having you here in person. I loved you. So many people loved you!

I am blessed. I was given true love...not 30 years, but I have my memories of you in a special place in my heart and this can never be taken away.

I love you my Harvey.
Happy Anniversary!

Debby, THIS made me cry. I came to tell you that I LOVED your visit & you said it was chatty but, when it's friends it's NEVER TOO MUCH! And then I see this & it just took my breath away. I'm going to see if you have an email on your profile because I want to share something very personal. Charlene

My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this coming August 16th, 2011. We too have two boys. I came across your blog just a few moments ago while searching for ideas. This is a wonderful tribute to your husband. We will be uplifting you in prayer on our shared anniversary.
