Christmas Tree...part one

I thought I would share a few photo's of my Christmas tree.

Decorating the tree is always a real labor of love and usually takes me 4 to 5 hours!

I enjoy unwrapping each ornamanet and reflecting on the memories behind each of them.

This year I used my wedding gown as my tree skirt! I live in a Victorian and my Christmas decorating seems to always gravitate to this era...with lot's of sparkle and BLING, of course! The back of my multiple lace teared gown adds to the effect. :)

I hope you enjoyed the photo's of my tree...

I will be posting photo's of more of my favorite Christmas decor ...

Check back soon!

Sending Holiday love to you all!

Romantic Vintage Buttons and Jewels...

(click on image to enha1nce detail)
I really had fun creating these two heart wreaths! Usually, my heart wreaths are encrusted with vintage jewels, exclusively. This time I used a mix of vintage buttons and vintage jewels.

By clicking on the photo below you will see that these wreaths have been wrapped in layers of ribbon, bridal fabric, lace, a vintage doilie and pearls. I love repurposing with these romantic fabrications!

My wreaths are available for purchase. Please email me if you would like further info.
